ICILS 2023. Factores psicoeducativos asociados a la competencia digital docente en educación secundaria

En los últimos años, la transformación digital en el ámbito educativo ha cobrado importancia, que pone de relieve la necesidad de avanzar en el conocimiento sobre la competencia digital docente. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar la influencia de un conjunto de factores psicoeducativos sobre la competencia digital del pro-fesorado de educación secundaria en España. La muestra está formada por 6247 docentes (64.3% mujeres; 35.7%, hombres) que han participado en el estudio ICILS 2023. Se han realizado un Análisis Factorial Exploratorio y un Análisis Factorial Confirmatorio de los ítems del cuestionario del profesorado (KMO = .934; Sig. < .001). Se iden-tificaron cuatro factores, que explican el 61% de la varianza. Los resultados muestran diferencias significativas en función del género, la edad y la experiencia docente. La actitud hacia las TIC, la autoeficacia digital y el uso de las TIC en el aula influyen sobre la competencia digital docente. Asimismo, la autoeficacia digital determina tanto la actitud como el uso de las TIC. Estos resultados sugieren la necesidad de promover la autoeficacia digital del profesorado, desarrollar seminarios de formación sobre alfabetización digital y realizar una evaluación sobre el modo en el que el profesorado utiliza las TIC.
